Assistant Manager for SME – Core Network at Mumbai
Job Description:
As an integral member of technology team, responsible to manage QA activities for pan India
with QA head with highly effective partner management skills.
Key Skillset:
Good knowledge of routing protocols like IS-IS and BGP, and L2TP.
Hands-on experience of traffic shaping, redundancy planning on PE and ILL routers.
Knowledge of L2 and L3 VPN configuration in routers and switches.
Knowledge on PPPoE, IPOE, DNS, AAA, call flows and configuration in BNGs from
different OEMs like Juniper, Nokia, and Huawei.
Knowledge of RADIUS call flow and parameter understanding.
Knowledge of scripting and automation methods will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of project management.
What you’ll bring to the team:
Assist in deploying/upgrading Caching node with Cores, including content analysis, IP
schema planning, and establishing connectivity between core and nodes such as Central
content server, Management access, and IT nodes like DNS.
Coordinate with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Field teams for support on
customer issues, fault restoration of Broadband Network Gateway (BNG), core switches,
and routers within Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Enablement and implementation of new processes for the core network.
Take proactive measures for capacity augmentation of all core devices.
Coordinate with vendors for deployment, testing, and Proof of Concept (POC) of new
features.
Coordinate with Application and IT teams for POC and deployment of new features.
Project management for any new project related to the core network.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
What all qualifications do we expect:
Education requirements: B.E or equivalent
Experience: 6 – 8 Years of experience preferably in the telecommunications industry.
