Job Description:
A Real Estate Liaison job involves being the key link between a company and government agencies, regulators, and other stakeholders to facilitate project approvals, ensure compliance, and manage smooth development by handling documentation, building relationships, and navigating complex approval processes for permits and licenses. Key duties include interacting with authorities like development authorities, electricity boards, and revenue departments, understanding land laws, coordinating internal teams, and managing project updates.
Core Responsibilities
- Government Relations: Act as the primary contact with various government bodies (e.g., Municipal Corp, Revenue Dept, Electricity Board).
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on land laws, building codes, and zoning norms to ensure project adherence.
- Approvals & Permits: Drive the process for obtaining essential clearances, licenses, and sanctions.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with officials, developers, and internal teams (Legal, Projects).
- Documentation: Prepare, submit, and manage crucial documents like land records, approvals, and reports.
- Project Coordination: Facilitate communication and ensure timely progress across departments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of real estate regulations and approval procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience dealing with government agencies and officials.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree (Law or Civil background often preferred).
