Opening for Cyber Security Engineer in BFSI company for the Malad location

Job Description:

Role: Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Malad West

Looking for candidates:

• With proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar Information Security role of minimum 5 to 7 years in the BFSI sector.
• Who will provide continuous assurance of Banks information systems around confidentiality, integrity and availability of information, and ensure protection of these information assets by ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to protect the technology and information assets from information & cyber security related risks.

Qualification:

Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science / Graduates having passed DOEACC ‘B’ level or related field required.

Desirable: CISA/ CISM/ CISSP/ CompTIA Security+, CEH, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, Diploma / Certification in Networking, Programming Languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of the Bank's data, systems, and networks.
• Troubleshoot security and network problems.
• Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
• Ensure that the Bank's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate digital products, programs and software prior to implementation.
• Identify and define system security requirements.
• Maintain all hardware and software in relation to security.
• Monitor types and techniques of hacking attacks.
• Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Configure and troubleshoot security infrastructure devices.
• Test and identify network and system vulnerabilities.
• Conduct proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies.
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further security enhancements.
• Liaise with vendors to implement security solutions.
• Conduct Audits as per RBI guidelines.

Designation and Compensation:

 Designation and Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications & relevant experience.

Any of the above criteria may be relaxed in the case of deserving candidates, at the sole discretion of the Bank’s Management.
