Job Description:
An Executive Marketing role for an industrial suppliers company involves developing and executing marketing strategies specific to the business-to-business (B2B) industrial sector. The focus is on generating leads, building client relationships, and increasing brand visibility among industrial customers and stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and annual plans tailored to the industrial market and its specific segments.
- Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify and pursue new industrial customers and business opportunities through a mix of online and offline activities. This often involves field visits to factories and industrial units.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to evaluate industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, using data to inform marketing decisions and identify new opportunities.
- Campaign Management: Plan, organize, and execute integrated marketing campaigns, promotional events (e.g., trade shows, exhibitions), and advertising across various channels (digital, print, etc.).
- Content Creation & Management: Write and proofread marketing copy for materials such as brochures, press releases, website content, and social media posts, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential industrial clients, vendors, media outlets, and other key stakeholders.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM software), track key metrics, and prepare detailed reports for management review to measure ROI and optimize future strategies.
- Budget Management: Assist in preparing and monitoring the marketing budget, ensuring all activities are cost-effective and within financial constraints.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related technical field (like electrical or mechanical engineering for industrial suppliers) is often preferred, with an MBA being a plus.
- Experience: Proven experience in a marketing or sales role, ideally within the industrial, manufacturing, or building materials sector.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Technical/Digital Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation platforms, and digital marketing tools (SEO, social media, email marketing).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, creativity, commercial awareness, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Personal Attributes: A self-motivated, results-driven, proactive individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Work Environment
