Job Description:
A Caretaker to a Managing Director (MD) provides comprehensive, high-level support, covering both personal needs and professional tasks, acting as a personal assistant, chauffeur, and house manager. Key duties include managing scheduling, logistics, transportation, errand running, and ensuring the upkeep of personal properties, requiring high trust, discretion, and scheduling flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Transportation: Serving as a personal chauffeur to meetings, events, and airport transport.
- Property Management: Overseeing household maintenance, security, cleaning, and sometimes groundskeeping of private residences.
- Errand & Personal Support: Running errands, managing laundry, meal preparation, and shopping for personal needs.
- Administrative Assistance: Handling incoming mail, screening calls, scheduling appointments, and managing diaries to ensure the MD is on time and prepared.
- Security & Safety: Ensuring a secure environment and managing home security systems.
- Discretion & Trust: Maintaining confidentiality regarding personal and company matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings.
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills for interacting with guests and staff.
- Organization: Strong capability to manage multiple tasks and scheduling simultaneously.
- Dependability: A trustworthy, reliable, and pro-active demeanor.
Common Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (often essential).
- Experience in hospitality, personal assistant roles, or private household management is highly preferred.
- First Aid certification is often a bonus
