Job Description:

As a Procurement Executive, you will be the
engine behind day-to-day procurement operations — ensuring timely material availability,
managing supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate records. Your mission: enable
smooth operations by executing procurement processes with speed, accuracy, and
accountability.

Role Purpose
Execute the full procurement lifecycle — from requisition to delivery — while maintaining
supplier performance, cost control, and compliance. This role ensures that the right
materials arrive at the right time, every time.

Interfaces: Pilot Line, R&D, Operations, QA, Stores, Finance
Decision Span: Purchase order execution, supplier coordination, delivery tracking, issue
resolution

Key Responsibilities
Supplier Coordination & Relationship Management
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and service
levels.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and quality terms within defined guidelines.
• Identify and onboard new suppliers as needed to support business growth.
Procurement Execution (P2P/S2P)
• Manage the procurement lifecycle: requisition, PO creation, 3-way match, delivery
confirmation.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to prevent stockouts.
• Track and expedite deliveries; resolve delays and discrepancies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Pilot, R&D, and Operations teams to understand material
requirements.
• Align procurement timelines with build schedules and project milestones.

Supplier Performance & Issue Resolution
• Monitor supplier KPIs (quality, delivery, responsiveness); escalate issues proactively.
• Resolve disputes related to pricing, delivery, or quality in coordination with QA and
Finance.
System & Documentation Management
• Maintain accurate procurement records: POs, contracts, delivery notes, invoices.
• Use ERP and procurement tools to manage workflows and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.


Cost Optimization & Risk Mitigation
• Support cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify supply chain risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communication or Mechanical) or
related field
• 5+ years of total experience in procurement or sourcing, with minimum 2 years in a
manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of procurement principles, supply chain operations,
and vendor management
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and procurement
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing and contracts, manage delivery schedules, and
resolve supplier issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across crossfunctional teams
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy
under pressure
• Familiarity with P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and S2P (Source-to-Pay) processes, including 3-
way matching and compliance tracking.
