Job Description:
A Store Executive in a Panel Manufacturing Company is responsible for managing the end-to-end inventory operations of raw materials (steel sheets, insulation materials, chemicals, components) and finished panels. They ensure smooth production support by maintaining accurate stock records, implementing FIFO, controlling inventory costs, and ensuring safety compliance.

Job Summary
  • Position: Store Executive / Store In-charge
  • Industry: Panel Manufacturing (Electrical Panels, ACP Panels, Sandwich Panels)
  • Experience: 2–6 years in store management
  • Key Focus: Inventory accuracy, material handling, and production support 
     
 
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Store Operations Management 
  • Manage daily inward and outward movements of raw materials and finished panel products.
  • Ensure proper storage, stacking, binning, and identification of materials.
  • Implement First-In-First-Out (FIFO) methods to manage stock turnover.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly physical stock verification and reconcile with system records (ERP).
  • Monitor minimum/buffer stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions to avoid production downtime. 
     
2. Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Material Requisition Notes (MRN), and Delivery Challans (DC).
  • Verify incoming materials for quality (in coordination with QC) and quantity.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements, scrap disposal, and returnable/non-returnable items.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with company audit requirements. 
     
3. Coordination & Support
  • Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Logistics, and Accounts departments to ensure timely material availability.
  • Support the dispatch team in ensuring timely delivery of finished products.
  • Manage scrap disposal and E-waste regulations. 
     
4. Safety & Maintenance
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards within the store area.
  • Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or deterioration. 
     
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, or a Diploma in Material Management/Logistics.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience, preferably in Electrical/Panel manufacturing, fabrication, or construction materials.
  • System Knowledge: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP MM, Oracle, Tally) and MS Excel.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of electrical components, switchgear, and raw material types is highly desirable.
  • Key Competencies: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
