HEAD QUALITY FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and enforce quality policies, procedures, and standards across the organization to build a strong quality culture.
- QMS Development: Oversee the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, TS16949).
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure all products and manufacturing processes meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations, minimizing non-conformances.
- Data Analysis & Improvement: Analyze quality metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventative actions (CAPA) to improve production efficiency.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and train the quality assurance team.
- Auditing & Reporting: Conduct regular audits and inspections and present performance reports to senior management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in quality assurance, with significant experience in leadership or management roles.
- Knowledge: Expertise in Quality Management Systems (QMS), Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Reduction in customer complaints and product defects.
- Compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Improved process efficiency and reduced waste.
