OFFICER HR FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Sourcing, interviewing, and hiring skilled/unskilled labor, engineers, and staff, along with conducting orientations.
- Statutory Compliance & IR: Ensuring strict adherence to labor laws, Factories Act, safety regulations, and managing relationships with unions and contractors.
- Payroll & Benefits: Managing time office, attendance, salary processing, and employee benefits.
- Performance & Training: Conducting performance appraisals, identifying training needs, and organizing safety training.
- Employee Relations: Handling grievances, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive, productive atmosphere.
- Education: MBA/PGDM in HR/Personnel Management or MSW (Master of Social Work).
- Experience: 2–8 years in HR, with specific experience in manufacturing or steel plants preferred.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance (DLC, factory inspector).
- Skills: Proficiency in HR software/payroll systems, excellent communication, and strong conflict resolution abilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with rolling mills, sponge iron units, or ferro-alloy units.
- Compliance Expertise: Knowledge of safety regulations and labor laws is critical.
- Contractor Management: Overseeing contractor labor and ensuring compliance.
