Job Description:
Responsibilities & Duties
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas,
customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or over the phone.
Promote the company’s products/services, addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Understand the target markets, including industry, company and which market strategies
can be used to attract clients.
Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you
have been assigned.
Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and
positioning.
Follow the latest industry developments and stay up-to-date on corporate competitors.
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of
how to meet these.
