Job Description:
Job Summary
The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring real estate construction projects. The role involves site coordination, progress tracking, vendor follow-ups, documentation, and ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, timelines, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination

Assist in preparing project schedules and work plans.

Coordinate daily site activities with site engineers and contractors.

Monitor project progress and report deviations to the Project Manager.

Ensure work execution as per approved drawings and specifications.
Site Supervision
-
Supervise construction activities and ensure quality standards are maintained.
-
Verify measurements and quantities for billing purposes.
-
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety compliance.
-
Track manpower deployment and productivity.
Vendor & Contractor Support
-
Follow up with contractors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.

Check material quality at site before usage.

Assist in evaluating contractor performance.
Budget & Documentation

Assist in monitoring project budgets and cost control.

Verify contractor bills and maintain proper documentation.

Maintain site reports, DPR (Daily Progress Reports), and MIS reports.

Support in maintaining project-related approvals and records.
Quality & Compliance

Ensure adherence to construction quality standards.

Support in obtaining statutory approvals and compliance documentation.

Maintain site safety standards as per company policy.
Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with architects, consultants, and internal departments.

Assist during client site visits and technical discussions.

Support smooth project handover and closure documentation.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.

Additional certification in construction management (preferred).
Experience
-
2–5 years of experience in real estate or construction projects.

Experience in residential/commercial building projects preferred.
