TIME KEEPER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Attendance Tracking: Accurately record and monitor employee time and attendance using electronic systems or manual logs.
- Shift Management: Prepare and manage shift schedules, including day/night shifts, ensuring adequate personnel coverage.
- Payroll Support: Calculate overtime, paid time off, and verify timesheets before submitting them to the payroll department.
- Data Verification: Investigate and resolve attendance discrepancies, such as missed punches, ensuring data accuracy.
- Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and company policies regarding work hours.
- Reporting: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly attendance and productivity reports for HR and plant management.
- Administrative Support: Maintain employee personal files, issue time cards, and assist with employee complaints.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or administration, preferably within a manufacturing or steel environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in MS Excel and timekeeping software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, or SAP).
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recording data to prevent payroll errors.
- Communication: Effective interpersonal skills to deal with workers and management.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an HR-related diploma is a plus.
- Work Environment: Frequently located on-site at a manufacturing plant.
- Shifts: May require working rotational or day/night shifts.
