Role and Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve high-quality sign-ups by aggressively pursuing leads provided by the central team and proactively identifying new leads. The candidate is expected to convert prospects through high-quality and impactful sales pitches.
The role also involves ensuring efficient operationalization and smooth handover of new partners. This includes achieving timely operationalization and meeting revenue targets linked to operational readiness. The candidate must maintain excellence in the transition process by guiding prospective channel partners in identifying suitable properties that meet the company’s criteria. Responsibilities further include ensuring timely collection of franchise fees, billing necessary furniture and equipment to make partners operationally ready, and providing the franchise manual and other essential documents to help them complete fit-outs within the stipulated timeline. Close coordination with cross-functional teams is required to handhold partners until inauguration, along with enabling them to source mandated welcome kits for the launch.
Additionally, the role requires running pre-launch marketing initiatives to generate business. This involves coordinating with the marketing team to identify suitable areas and tools to ensure visibility and generate enquiries, as well as ensuring that POP materials are placed as per the pre-sign-off discussion.
The candidate will also be responsible for sales administration and compliance activities. This includes managing and updating the Lead Management System, meeting daily market visit norms, maintaining daily visit reports and funnel management, and validating the KYC of prospective channel partners. The validated documents must be submitted to the Head Office to ensure timely sign-off of the MOU and Agreement.
Experience and Qualification
The candidate should be a graduate with 5–8 years of experience in franchise acquisition and deal-making. An MBA in Sales and Marketing with 4–6 years of experience in education, retail, or franchising will be considered desirable.
