Business Development Executive
Job Description:
Role: Business development(Telecalling / Lead Generation)
The Tele caller will be responsible for generating qualified leads, initiating contact with potential clients, and scheduling meetings for the sales team. The role involves proactive outbound calling, maintaining client databases, and supporting the sales pipeline development.
1. Generate qualified leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
2. Contact potential clients across various industry verticals and explain the company’s products and services.
3. Make outbound calls to prospective clients from provided databases and self-generated sources.
4. Identify and qualify sales leads based on client requirements and project opportunities.
5. Maintain daily call reports, lead tracking sheets, and follow-up records.
6. Coordinate with the sales team for scheduling meetings and client interactions.
7. Maintain and regularly update the CRM/database with accurate client information.
8. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and appointment targets.
9. Build and nurture professional relationships with potential clients.
10. Identify and connect with key decision-makers such as Project Managers, Purchase Heads, Maintenance Heads, and Facility Managers.
11. Send the company profile and introduction email to a minimum of 20 prospective clients per day.
Target Expectations (Monthly)
- 80–100 calls per day
- 40–50 qualified leads per month
- 15–20 confirmed client meetings per month
- Support in generating a business pipeline of ₹50 Lakhs+
- Preferred Skills
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Basic understanding of B2B sales processes
- Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence
- Good data management and reporting discipline
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Excel
- Experience & Qualification
1–3 years in telecalling, lead generation, or inside sales, Graduate in any discipline preferred
