Job Description:
A Driver Admin combines safe, professional driving duties with office support, managing vehicle maintenance, staff transport, and mail/package delivery. They handle logistics, such as vehicle logs, courier services, and light clerical tasks, ensuring both safe transportation and organized daily operational support.
Core Responsibilities
- Driving & Transportation: Providing safe, timely transportation for staff, visitors, and officials.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintaining vehicles in clean, safe, and efficient working conditions, including scheduling maintenance and monitoring fuel.
- Administrative Support: Delivering mail/parcels, assisting with photocopying, filing, and office errands.
- Documentation & Logistics: Maintaining accurate, up-to-date vehicle logs, tracking mileage, and ensuring compliance with traffic laws and insurance requirements.
- Courier Services: Handling incoming and outgoing mail and delivering documents to offices or government agencies.
Key Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of driving experience, ideally in an office-related environment.
- Defensive driving skills and knowledge of vehicle safety checks.
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and organizational skills.
Typical Tasks
- Checking vehicles for fluid levels and electrical conditions daily.
- Operating GPS and planning routes, checking for traffic delays.
- Delivering and unpacking stationery and stock items.
- Assisting in setting up venues for meetings or events.
This role demands a high level of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism to ensure smooth operations.
