Technician - Electrical

Job Description:

🔹 Key Responsibilities

⚡ Electrical Maintenance

• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems

• Handle HT/LT systems (11/33/66 KV)

• Operate and maintain DG sets, UPS, PCC/MCC panels

• Troubleshoot power and control circuits

• Maintain motors, starters (DOL, Star-Delta, F/R), and VFDs

🛡 Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety standards and procedures (LOTO system)

• Ensure compliance with statutory and company safety policies

• Promote safety culture and report unsafe conditions

📊 Operations & Documentation

• Maintain shift logbooks and maintenance records

• Ensure proper housekeeping (5S)

• Report abnormalities and deviations to supervisor

• Support audit and compliance requirements

🔧 System Knowledge

• Circuit breakers, protection relays, feeder systems

• Power changeover (GEB ↔ DG)

• Preventive & predictive maintenance

• Basic ISO systems (9001 / 14001 / OHSAS)

🚀 Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Kaizen / operational excellence initiatives

• Support plant projects and modifications

• Use CMMS/software for maintenance tracking

🔹 Qualifications & Experience

🎓 Education:

• ITI Electrical (Mandatory)

• Wireman Certificate / Supervisor License (Preferred)

💼 Experience:

• 4–6 years in plant electrical maintenance

• Preferred industries: Chemical / Petrochemical / Polymer

🔹 Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems

• Electrical troubleshooting expertise

• Good communication (Hindi / English / Gujarati)

• Basic computer knowledge

🔹 Preferred Skills

• PLC / DCS / Automation exposure

• Condition monitoring techniques

• Project & shutdown maintenance experience
