Job Description:
Role Purpose
The Compliance Advisory professional will support the bank in ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory
requirements, internal policies, and governance standards. The role involves providing advisory support to
business units, interpreting regulatory guidelines, and proactively identifying and mitigating compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Advisory
Provide compliance advisory support to Liabilities business across the Bank and Branch banking, Payments
business – UPI, AePS, PA/PG, acquiring etc, Third party distribution – MF, Insurance products and Digital
Banking operations, and product teams on regulatory requirements issued by RBI, SEBI (if applicable), FEMA,
AML/CFT, and other relevant regulators.
Interpret circulars, notifications, and regulatory updates and assess their impact on existing products, processes,
and policies.
Act as a point of contact for compliance-related queries from internal stakeholders.
Policy & Framework Management
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating compliance policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines in line with
regulatory changes.
Support implementation of compliance frameworks, monitoring mechanisms, and control assessments.
Ensure policies are communicated effectively across departments.
Risk Assessment & Monitoring
Conduct compliance risk assessments and identify gaps in adherence.
Advise on mitigation strategies for regulatory and compliance risks.
Support periodic compliance testing and thematic reviews.

Regulatory Liaison & Reporting
Support responses to regulatory inspections, audits, and supervisory observations.
Assist in preparation and submission of regulatory reports and disclosures.
Coordinate with internal audit, risk, and legal teams as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Chartered Accountant / MBA / LLB or equivalent professional qualification.
15 – 20 years of experience in compliance, internal audit, or risk management within banking or financial
services.
Strong knowledge of RBI guidelines and other regulations.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in MS Office, compliance tools, and data analytics platforms.
Familiarity with RegTech solutions and automation tools for compliance testing.
