About the Role

We are building a dedicated, high-performance expansion engine for the HUGO brand, operating as a semi-autonomous vertical to drive aggressive growth in untapped Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities. This is a hands-on leadership role, focused on market creation, project acquisition, and building city-level sales teams, rather than a corporate management position. 

Strategic Objective

• Launch HUGO presence in new high-potential cities

• Build local market ecosystems within 60 days

• Drive rapid project acquisition (6–8 projects per city annually)

• Establish strong relationships with developers, architects, landscape consultants, and government bodies 

 

Key Markets (Phase 1) 

• Chennai

• Ahmedabad

• Additional cities (to be finalized): Jaipur, Chandigarh, Kochi, Lucknow, Indore, Coimbatore 

 

Organizational Structure

• Head – HUGO Market Expansion

• City Business Managers (one per city)

• Project Sales Executives (Phase 2) 

Key Responsibilities 

  1. Market Expansion Strategy
  •  Define and execute city entry strategies for new markets
  •  Identify high-potential projects, developers, and consultants
  •  Drive rapid market penetration with a field-first approach 
  1. Team Building & Leadership
  • Hire and manage City Business Managers
  • Build a lean, high-performance, execution-driven team
  • Ensure strong accountability and target orientation
  1. Business Development & Project Acquisition
  • Develop relationships with:

o Top developers

o Landscape architects

o Architects & consultants

o Government and municipal bodies

  • Drive end-to-end project closures from concept to execution

 

  1. Key Account Management
  • Handle strategic and large accounts across cities
  • Build long-term partnerships with institutional clients
  1. Revenue & Pipeline Management
  • Own city-level revenue targets and pipeline growth
  • Monitor project funnel: leads → proposals → closures
  • Ensure consistent deal flow across all markets
  1. Market Intelligence
  • Track: o Competitor activity

o Urban development trends

o Government infrastructure projects
