Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities – Counter Sales / Sr. Counter Sales
- Attend and assist walk-in customers in the showroom with a warm and professional approach
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable gold, diamond, and bridal jewellery
- Explain product features, pricing, certification, and offers clearly to customers
- Showcase jewellery collections (Polki, Diamond, Matte Gold, etc.) effectively to drive sales
- Close sales efficiently and achieve individual/monthly targets
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure repeat business
- Maintain showroom display, stock handling, and visual merchandising standards
- Handle billing, basic documentation, and coordination with backend team
- Stay updated with latest jewellery trends and designs
For Senior Counter Sales:
- Handle high-value and premium customers confidently
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Support junior staff and guide them on customer handling and sales techniques
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction and smooth showroom operations
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- 2-4 years experience in jewellery showroom sales
- Good communication & presentable personality
- Knowledge of gold/diamond jewellery & billing
- Languages: Gujarati (preferred), Hindi, Marathi, basic English
- Target-driven and customer-focused
