Job Description:

The National Sales Manager  is responsible for leading and managing the overall sales strategy, operations, and performance across the country. The role involves driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, building strong client relationships, and leading high-performing regional and zonal sales teams to achieve business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve company targets and growth objectives
  • Set sales targets and ensure achievement of revenue goals across regions
  • Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional and zonal sales teams
  • Drive team productivity and performance alignment with company goals
  • Support capability development and performance improvement initiatives

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments
  • Expand market reach and strengthen company presence across territories
  • Support acquisition of key accounts and strategic clients

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Drive long-term partnerships to improve customer retention and satisfaction

Market Intelligence

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
  • Provide insights to support business strategy and planning decisions

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams for business alignment
  • Support execution of strategic initiatives across departments

Planning & Reporting

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review
  • Track progress against targets and ensure timely reporting

Channel Management

  • Ensure effective distribution network management
  • Strengthen channel partnerships and improve coverage efficiency

Qualifications & Experience 🎯

  • MBA preferred

    • B2B Sales

    • Concept Selling
    • Technical Sales
    • Engineering / Construction industry sales
