Job Description:

Role Overview

The company has a strong presence in the Mumbai and Pune regions with a team size of approximately 100 people. The Sales Head–Mumbai & Pune will be responsible for leading sales strategy, revenue delivery, team productivity, market expansion, developer relationships, and multi-location execution across these key markets. The role requires a senior real estate sales leader who has managed large teams, multiple offices, and multiple geographies and delivered strong real estate sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Regional Business Leadership
  • Own and drive sales strategy for Mumbai and Pune markets, ensuring alignment with company overall business growth plans.
  • Lead revenue delivery across multiple offices, locations, micro-markets, and teams while ensuring strong profitability and business discipline.
  • Build annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans for the region, including project focus, manpower planning, lead allocation, developer priorities, and closure targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and surrounding real estate markets to expand business scale and market share.
  • Act as the senior business owner for the region, responsible for sales outcomes, team performance, market coverage, and stakeholder alignment.
  1. Large Team Management & Leadership
  • Lead, manage, and guide a large sales team of approximately 100 people across Mumbai and Pune regions.
  • Build a strong leadership layer across locations by developing city managers, sales managers, team leaders, and high-potential performers.
  • Drive team productivity through structured daily, weekly, and monthly review mechanisms.
  • Ensure clarity of targets, roles, accountability, reporting lines, and performance expectations across the complete sales structure.
  • Create a high-performance culture focused on ownership, discipline, customer engagement, sales closures, and consistent target achievement.

  1. Multi-Office & Multi-Location Sales Execution
  • Manage sales execution across multiple offices and geographies, ensuring consistency in process, reporting, customer handling, and performance tracking.
  • Standardize sales practices across regions while allowing market-specific execution strategies based on local buyer behavior and project dynamics.
  • Monitor location-wise performance and ensure underperforming markets receive focused attention, leadership intervention, and corrective action.
  • Drive strong coordination between Mumbai and Pune teams to ensure business alignment, inventory focus, and leadership visibility.
  • Ensure seamless collaboration across internal teams including Marketing, CRM, Post-Sales, Loans, HR, Finance, and Operations.
  1. Revenue Growth & Sales Funnel Management
  • Own the complete sales funnel across the region, including lead allocation, customer engagement, site visits, negotiations, bookings, and closures.
  • Improve funnel efficiency by increasing conversion ratios, reducing drop-offs, improving follow-up quality, and strengthening closure capability.
  • Track key performance indicators such as lead response time, site visit conversion, booking conversion, revenue per team member, and project-wise performance.
  • Drive aggressive sales campaigns and project-specific action plans to improve revenue velocity and achieve business targets.
  • Ensure strong focus on high-value closures, strategic inventory, and revenue-impacting opportunities across the region.
  1. Developer Relationships & Market Expansion
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leading developers across Mumbai and Pune markets.
  • Strengthen developer confidence in PropertyPistol’s ability to drive closures, manage customers, and deliver business outcomes.
  • Identify new developer partnerships, project opportunities, mandate opportunities, and inventory expansion possibilities.
  • Monitor real estate market trends, competitor movement, pricing patterns, and customer preferences to shape regional sales strategy.
  • Represent PropertyPistol as a senior business leader in developer meetings, strategic reviews, and market discussions.
  1. Performance Governance, MIS & Reviews
  • Establish strong performance review systems across locations, teams, managers, and individual contributors.
  • Review sales dashboards, CRM data, revenue reports, project-wise performance, and productivity reports on a regular basis.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, CRM discipline, and structured data visibility across the region.
  • Share regular leadership updates on business performance, risks, opportunities, market insights, and action plans.
  • Drive data-backed decision-making to improve team deployment, sales focus, project prioritization, and conversion outcomes.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong experience in real estate sales leadership with proven ability to manage large teams and multiple locations.
  • Must have experience managing teams of approximately 80–100 people or more in a sales- driven environment.
  • Should have handled multi-office, multi-location, and multi-geography sales operations in real estate sales.
  • Proven track record of delivering strong revenue numbers and driving consistent sales performance.
  • Strong developer relationship management skills and deep understanding of Mumbai and Pune real estate markets.
  • Must be a strong people leader with high ownership, business acumen, execution discipline, and stakeholder management capability.

Experience & Qualification

  • 12–18 years of experience in real estate sales leadership.
  • Graduate / MBA / Postgraduate preferred.
  • Prior experience as Sales Head / Regional Head / City Head / Business Head in real estate preferred.

  • Candidates with strong exposure to Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Pune markets will be preferred.
  • Profiles with proven experience of handling large teams and high-value sales portfolios will be strongly preferred.
