Senior Accountant

Job Description:

Industry Preference: Healthcare, Hospital Projects, Interior Fit-outs, EPC, Infrastructure, Healthcare Consulting, Project-Based Organizations

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong exposure to project-based accounting, vendor management, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. Candidates who have previously worked with organizations similar to Hospertz India Private Limited or in healthcare/hospital project industries will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries
• Maintain project-wise accounting and cost tracking
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor ledgers, and client accounts
• Ensure timely GST, TDS, PT, PF, and other statutory compliance filings
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants during audits and assessments
• Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payment follow-ups
• Prepare and maintain invoices, purchase orders, debit/credit notes
• Handle payroll accounting entries and salary reconciliations
• Support management with budgeting and financial planning
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records as per company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) mandatory
• Com / CA Inter preferred
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting
• Experience in project accounting and vendor coordination
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates having experience in hospital turnkey projects, healthcare consulting, interior execution firms, construction/EPC companies, healthcare infrastructure companies, and multi-location project operations will be preferred.
