IT EXECUTIVE FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Infrastructure & Network Maintenance: Manage servers, networks, and hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners) at the plant and corporate sites.
- ERP and Software Support: Install, maintain, and support ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and ensure they align with manufacturing workflows.
- Data Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures (e.g., firewall, two-factor authentication) and ensure protection of confidential data.
- IT Support & Troubleshooting: Provide prompt technical support to plant staff and other departments for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors for IT services and equipment procurement.
- Operational Technology Support: Ensure high-performance systems for production tracking, sometimes involving RF links or plant automation systems. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in IT management, preferably within the steel, power, or manufacturing industry.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of IT networking, hardware maintenance, and ERP software.
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, project management, and the ability to work under pressure. [1, 2, 3]
