Job Description:
A Social Media Executive for a jewelry brand manages the brand’s online presence. They drive sales and build customer trust by creating visually stunning content (photos/reels), telling the brand's story, engaging with followers, and running targeted local and digital marketing campaigns to showcase collections. Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Shoot high-quality, aesthetic photos and short-form videos (Reels) of jewelry pieces on a mobile device or DSLR.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and schedule daily posts, stories, and carousels across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
  • Copywriting: Write compelling, luxury-focused captions detailing craftsmanship, purity (e.g., gold karats, diamond clarity), and styling tips.
  • Community Management: Respond to direct messages (DMs), comments, and customer inquiries regarding pricing, customization, and store locations.
  • Campaign Coordination: Assist with in-store or studio jewelry photoshoots and collaborate with influencers for product placements.
  • Analytics & Growth: Monitor engagement rates and follower growth to adjust content strategies for better reach and lead generation. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Essential Requirements
  • Visual Aesthetics: A strong eye for premium, elegant imagery and video editing, primarily using tools like Canva, CapCut, or Adobe.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with jewelry types (gold, diamond, polki, antique, silver) and the luxury buyer's mindset.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken skills for storytelling and addressing customer queries.
  • Creativity: Trend-savvy, capable of ideating festival campaigns (e.g., Diwali, Akshaya Tritiya, wedding season). [1, 2, 3]
Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience: 1–5 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing, preferably within fashion, luxury, or jewelry retail.
