Job Description:

Position               : AGM / Manager/ Sr. Engineer-Sales

Location              : Chennai

Qualification      : Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Management.

                 MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.

Experience & Salary Budget as per Below

 

GM / AGM          : 11- 18 yrs exp (18-20 Lacs max)

Manager             : 7-10 yrs (10-12 Lacs)

Sr Engineer         : 3 to 6 yrs (7 -9 Lacs)

 

Skills Required :

  • Experience in end-to-end sales with exposure working for cooling tower industry. 
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of tendering and contract management.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering drawings/specifications.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets in the industrial segment.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and client visits.
  • Handle end-to-end sales activities including lead generation, enquiry handling, proposal submission, negotiation, and order closure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial clients, consultants, contractors, OEMs, and channel partners.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable technical/commercial solutions.
  • Prepare techno-commercial offers, quotations, and presentations as per client requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as design, production, projects, dispatch, and accounts for smooth execution of orders.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback to support business growth.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and collection targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, sales pipeline, customer interactions, and sales reports in CRM/MIS.
  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to promote company products and services.
  • Support payment follow-up and ensure timely collection from customers.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and periodic performance reports for management review.
  • Guide and support junior sales team members whenever required.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial terms, and safety standards during client interactions and site visits.
