Job Description:

Role Objective

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth by onboarding developer relationships, closing mandate opportunities, and building a high-quality sales pipeline aligned with the company’s long-term revenue vision. This is a field-oriented, outcome-driven role, not a desk-bound position.

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Developer & Client Acquisition
  • Identify, engage, and onboard real estate developers for mandate and consulting assignments
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships (Owners, Directors, CXOs)
  • Lead negotiations on commercials, scope, and engagement structures
  1. Mandate Closure & Deal Structuring
  • Pitch mandate, consulting, and sales solutions
  • Drive deals from first meeting to formal sign-off with leadership alignment
  • Maintain closure discipline and documentation integrity
  1. Market Intelligence & Strategy
  • Track upcoming launches, land parcels, and competitive developments
  • Provide on-ground market insights to leadership for strategic decisions
  • Identify expansion opportunities across residential formats (high-rise, villas, plotted developments)
  1. Internal Coordination
  • Act as the primary interface between developers and internal teams
  • Ensure smooth transition post-mandate closure
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, reports, and business trackers
  1. Governance & Professional Conduct
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of business information
  • Represent the brand with commercial maturity and professionalism
  • Uphold ethical standards in all engagements

Experience & Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum Experience: 5–8 years in real estate business development, mandate sales, or developer sourcing
  • Mandatory:
    • Own two-wheeler or four-wheeler with valid driving license
    • Willingness to travel extensively for developer meetings and site visits
  • Proven track record of developer engagement and mandate closures
