Motion Graphic Designer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphics Designer and Motion Graphics Animator to join our product team. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design skills paired with a deep understanding of motion graphics and animation to create visually compelling digital assets. You will collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality visuals for various media, including web, social media, advertisements, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

● Graphic Design:

Create and design engaging visuals for digital and print media, including social media assets, advertisements, banners, brochures, websites, and other branding materials.

● Motion Graphics:

Develop and animate motion graphics for video content, promotional materials, product demos, and advertisements.

● Concept Development:

Work closely with the marketing, content, and creative teams to brainstorm, conceptualize, and execute creative ideas.

● Video Editing:

Collaborate with video production teams to integrate motion graphics into video projects.

● Brand Consistency:

Ensure all designs and animations are aligned with the company’s branding guidelines and visual style.

● Collaboration: ⁠

Collaborate with the content team to develop infographics, presentations, and reports.

● Stay Current:

Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices.

Must have:

● Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree

● Experience:

○ Up to 1 year of experience in design

○ A strong portfolio demonstrating both graphic design and animation skills.

● Skills: ⁠

Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices.

○ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign).

○ Strong understanding of motion graphics principles (keyframing, timing, easing, etc.).

○ Basic knowledge of 3D animation software (Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar) is a plus.

○ Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design.

○ Familiarity with video editing workflows and integration of motion graphics in video.

○ Experience working with storyboards and conceptualizing designs based on project requirements.

○ Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

○ Good understanding of UI/UX

○ Familiarity with web design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

● Creativity:

Exceptional creativity and attention to detail with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.

● Communication:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

● Problem-Solving:

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to evolving project needs and deadlines.

Nice to Have:

● Knowledge of sound design to accompany motion graphics.

● Some experience in UI/UX design

● Good understanding of SDLC

● Some knowledge in requirement analysis and research

● Familiarity with project management tools.

● Familiar with the Design Thinking Process

● Some experience with illustration creation.
