Role Overview:
The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The role involves market research, lead generation, client engagement, proposal preparation, and coordinating with internal teams to convert opportunities into successful business outcomes. The BDE plays a key role in expanding the company's customer base, strengthening market presence, and achieving sales targets through strategic business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit clients and generate new business opportunities.
- Approach potential clients and introduce company products/services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Conduct market research and identify prospective clients.
- Follow up on leads and convert them into business opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams for client requirements and support.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Prepare daily visit reports and sales updates
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/Marketing candidates will be preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with clients.
- Basic knowledge of sales and business development activities.
- Strong negotiation and convincing skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented attitude.
- Proficiency in the local language of the respective location (Mumbai – Marathi, Hyderabad – Telugu, Chennai – Tamil) will be preferred.
- Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in field sales or business development.
- Must be comfortable with client visits and field work.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and email communication
