Job Description:
- Lead and manage the entire Human Resources and Industrial Relations (HR & IR) function across the organization.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and processes aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Drive end-to-end Talent Acquisition for corporate, technical, manufacturing and leadership positions.
- Oversee employee lifecycle management including onboarding, performance management, learning & development, career progression and succession planning.
- Lead Performance Management Systems (PMS), competency development, employee engagement and organizational development initiatives.
- Ensure statutory compliance under all applicable labour laws and regulations, including Factories Act, Industrial Relations Code, Shops & Establishments Act, EPF, ESIC, Payment of Wages, Payment of Bonus, Gratuity and other employment legislations.
- Manage Industrial Relations by maintaining positive relationships with workmen, unions (where applicable), employee representatives and government authorities.
- Handle disciplinary matters, domestic enquiries, grievance redressal, employee counselling and conflict resolution.
- Partner with business leaders to drive workforce planning, productivity improvement, manpower budgeting and organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee payroll inputs, compensation & benefits administration, HRMIS, attendance and leave management.
- Foster a high-performance, compliant and employee-centric work culture while supporting business growth and operational excellence.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Education
- Preferred: MBA / PGDM in Human Resources, Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM), Master of Social Work (MSW – HR/Personnel Management) or equivalent Post Graduate qualification with specialization in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
- A Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or a Diploma/Certification in Labour Laws & Industrial Relations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including significant exposure to Industrial Relations, preferably within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Electrical Equipment, Industrial Products or Process Industry.
- Proven experience in independently managing end-to-end HR operations and IR functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory compliances, factory HR practices and industrial relations.
- Experience in workforce planning, performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement and policy formulation.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leadership, statutory authorities, employee representatives and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in implementing HRMS/ERP systems and driving HR process improvements will be preferred.
