Job Description:
A Sales Coordinator manages the administrative and operational side of B2B sales for industrial suppliers. They bridge the gap between clients, sales representatives, and production teams—handling order processing, drafting quotations, and tracking deliveries to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and high customer satisfaction.
This role is specifically tailored for an industrial supplier:
Key Responsibilities
- Order Management: Process sales orders, verify technical specifications, and coordinate with the dispatch/logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of heavy machinery, equipment, or materials.
- Quotation & Pricing: Assist sales engineers by drafting commercial proposals, proforma invoices, and maintaining updated price lists.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for B2B client inquiries, order updates, and grievance resolution.
- Database & CRM Maintenance: Track leads, update customer databases, and maintain accurate records of sales activities using ERP or CRM platforms.
- Reporting: Compile daily, weekly, or monthly sales reports and track performance metrics for higher management.
Essential Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree (B.Com, B.Sc, or Business Administration).
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in sales coordination, preferably within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial supply sectors.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for inventory and data tracking) and familiarity with ERP/CRM software.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional multitasking, organizational capabilities, and confident verbal/written communication to handle B2B clients and cross-departmental teams.
