Purchase Executive (Packaging Machines) at Vasai east in Mumbai

Job Description:

Qualification: Any Graduate
Experience: minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience in Purchase / Procurement and working knowledge of Tally in a manufacturing setup.
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:
Source and procure raw materials (metals), electrical components (control panels), pneumatic components, and machine parts from approved vendors.
Evaluate, develop, and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to fulfill material requirements.
Maintain accurate purchase records and update entries in Tally software.
Apply practical knowledge of metals, machine parts, electrical components, and pneumatic systems.
Ensure that purchased materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
Stay updated on market trends, industrial brands, material prices, and supplier developments.
Visit vendor sites to ensure timely production, commitment fulfillment, and on-time delivery of materials.
Experience in machine manufacturing or the packaging machinery industry will be an added advantage.
