Job Description:

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE HEAD-WIRE ROD MILL(WRM)

Leading a team of technical staff as a department-in-charge to carry out engineering
activities and providing them technical guidance and motivational inputs to maximize
team productivity.
Defining work schedule and job allocations to team members & monitoring their work
performances.
Coordinates with other departments like electrical, purchase and contactors to ensure
the uninterrupted progress of project.
Successful erection of Elgi screw compressors, water pumps, Roll conveyors.
Successful erection of 3 Hi Roughing mill and 16 stands of continuous mill with their gear
boxes
and motors. Continuous mill’s all stands + Roughing Mill rolls assembled.
• Successful erection of Lubrication system for Roughing mill, Continuous mill and
Block mill.
• Successful erection of  stand Block mill with Primary ,Secondary gear boxes and
motor.
• Successful erection of Laying Head, Stelmore, Coil reforming tub, centering mendral, Slat
conveyor, Coil compactor, Upender and Coil capston.
• Successful erection of flying Shears and Pinch rolls.
•  make walking hearth furnace cold trial and heating cycle completed . Wire Rod
