Google Analytics Consultant
Job Description:
We are looking to hire a consultant to lead the delivery of analytics implementation and optimisation solutions. The analytics consultant will work primarily with Google Analytics (360) but will also have opportunities within Adobe Analytics. Depending on their skillset and interests, they may also work with Conversion Rate Optimisation tools such as Optimizely, Google Optimize and Adobe Target. The consultant will support our clients throughout their Digital Analytics journey. This starts with discovery (assessing client requirements & crafting measurement solutions), then moves through implementation (using a range of platforms such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium and Adobe Launch), configuration and optimisation.
Responsibilities :
- Working with clients to define their measurement strategies.
- Translating those strategies into tracking and reporting configurations.
- Working with the client’s developers to deploy robust data layers.
- Implementing tagging solutions to meet the tracking requirements.
- Developing scripts and plugins to solve ad-hoc tracking issues.
- Improving internal techniques, processes and quality assurance.
- Day to day account management and written and contact with clients.
- Provide actionable insights to clients via your own analysis of their data
- Lead or support website and app testing using A/B, multivariate or personalisation methodologies
- Drive data maturity for some of the world’s biggest brands
- Work with different APIs, reporting and visualisation platforms
- Debugging and Troubleshooting best practices for Analytics tracking
Requirements:
- Engineer’s or Bachelor’s degree (Computer Sci. or quantitative field preferred).
- 2-4 years of relevant hands-on experience with Google Analytics.
- Deep knowledge of different web technologies and an excellent understanding of javascript.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and data visualization.
- Well-versed in php, wordpress.
- Google Analytics certification (Recommended)
Things which will make you immediately stand out:
- A strong understanding of the wider products within the Google Marketing Platform.
- Experience working with BigQuery and data visualisation platforms.
- Knowledge (either applied or classroom) of the Adobe Experience Cloud suite of products.
- Knowing the latest features and implementation best practices related to Google Analytics and digital analytics.
- Implementation and Analysis of the next gen GA4 Property.
- Hands on experience with a combination of Web analytics + CRO + Tag Management tools.
- Experience of ADH (Ads Data Hub) and Server Site GTM (Google Tag Manager)
- Expertize on Analytics tracking for Mobile App.
- A background in - Fundamentals of tracking and tagging for marketing and measurement; Variety of tag management system experience
- (or very strong knowledge of one/two); JavaScript, including common libraries (e.g. jQuery) and HTML & CSS
Work location
- Bangalore or Mumbai.
