Job Description:
- Self-clearing and pre/post trade activities across all segments Trade support & daily reconciliations of cash, positions, and trading activity.
- Liaising with counterparties on daily issues.
- Managing cashflow and stockflow across multiple clearing corporations.
- Live risk/capital monitoring and escalation.
- Ad-hoc trade executions.
- Ad-hoc data analysis and report generation.
- BCP Planning and execution; trading and limit administration
- Onboarding new exchanges, or products as the business expands
- Work with the technology team to develop new tools and applications.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- Experience of the operational processes (settlement, clearing, margin etc.) of various Indian Equities or Future/Options markets and an excellent understanding of how they work. Knowledge of self-clearing would be advantageous.
- Experience using Excel for data manipulation.
- A first-class degree in a quantitative or scientific field is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Diligent, focused and prepared to take ownership. The individual will be supported by the Operations team globally but must be prepared to work independently from the Mumbai office.
- A demonstrated aptitude and interest in process improvement.
