Job Description:

We are looking for:

The Programmatic Trader is responsible for managing the Junior Programmatic Trader and ensuring the profitability of assigned accounts. Reporting to the Head of Programmatic the candidate will work closely with the programmatic team based in Singapore and will be fully responsible for supporting in driving programmatic growth in the APAC region. Day-to-day, the candidate will work alongside account teams to devise and implement programmatic strategies, provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and make campaign changes as required. Help not only plan campaigns but execute campaigns on DSP platforms. The candidate should expect to spend 70% of their time on campaign management and 30% contributing to new business plans and client meetings/QBR support. A secondary responsibility will be training and educating junior members on the programmatic landscape and all things programmatic to run successful campaigns.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive programmatic thought leadership for the business and for our Tier 1 clients.
  • Mentor and train a talented team of programmatic traders.
  • Drive agency strategy around programmatic and direct buying through technology platforms.
  • Evaluate and recommend current and potential technology partners.
  • Setup, manage and optimise different types of programmatic inventory via multiple Demand Side Platforms.
  • Continually acquire knowledge by maintaining relationships with key programmatic vendors in Dentsu’s portfolio.
  • Manage costs incurred and revenue generated from buying platforms.
  • Oversee implementation of programmatic media campaigns.
  • Produce and present engaging campaign analysis for clients, demonstrating the effectiveness of planning, testing and media optimisation and management.
  • Provide insight and guidance to members of the Integrated Media team.
  • Maintain and stay current about industry news and research.

Requirements:

  • Gradute in any stream.
  • At least 5-6 years of hands-on experience with the following media technology tools: DSPs, SSPs, ad-servers, ad-exchanges, retargeting tools, Facebook advertising, Google Display Network.
  • Able to handle up to $500K-$800K of programmatic media spends a month.
  • Excellence within the following skill areas: problem-solving, data-led analysis, organization, collaboration and presentation.
  • Comfortable with excel and large data sets to make analytical/data-based decisions.
  • Strong background in digital media ad units including digital display, video, mobile and social.
  • Possess and demonstrate a deep and current knowledge of Digital trends and strategy within a marketing advertising environment.

Things which will make you immediately stand out:

  • Experience in DMP, CDP, Analytics/MMP tools is a plus Mobile App user acquisition experience is a plus. Experience working towards measurable direct-response metrics is a plus.
  • Experience managing campaigns driving towards app installs is a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously and with team members in different locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Positive, professional, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to multitask, detail-oriented and organized.

Work location

  • Bangalore or Mumbai.
  • But for next one year it is WFH
