Job Description:

Job Responsibilities :

 

This position is responsible for all aspects of technical management of nominated FPSO

  • Responsible for the safe and cost-effective operation and maintenance of the Facility with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag, and the Integrated Facility Management System.
  • Fulfill the risk management requirements by ensuring all risks in the system, associate utilities operation and maintenance are identified, and procedures are established and implemented.
  • Monitor the planned maintenance system and to report any non- compliances.

 

1.0 Dimensions

  • Represent the company in the Technical support to the FPSO as required by the company.
  • Coordinates work across FPSO, SCM, DCS and Finance Function
  • Supports all Operations and Project Execution activities.

 

2.0 Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist HSSEEQ support to the assigned FPSO.
  • Coordinate with relevant shore-based safety activities to support the FPSO.
  • Report Technical and Operational issues appropriately
  • Together with the HSSEQ, ensure Safety and Environmental compliance
  • Support the HSSEQ manager with all statutory and class certification remains valid and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.

 

3.0 Specific Accountabilities

As per designation the following applies as indicated by the relevant Process Owner.

 

3.1 Training & Competency 

For the purpose of this policy, “Competency” shall be defined as the application of practical and thinking skill, experience, knowledge and behaviour to a defined performance standard expected in employment.

All work roles where an individual has accountability for safety critical activity will be supported by a valid and reliable Competency Management System process.

Standards of competence are defined by using a format consisting of: 

  • Elements of competence expressed in human output terms.
  • Performance criteria sufficient to identify satisfactory performance; and
  • A range statement with the circumstances in which the standard applies.

As part of the standards, a defined, valid, reliable system for assessing whether individuals meet the standards, have been set.  The prime source of evidence in all cases will be naturally occurring workplace activity, although this will be supported by other assessment instruments, e.g., to simulate handling of emergencies or to test knowledge.

Individuals are provided with the assessment tool prior to assessment, detailing required competencies and the assessment processes.

3.2 HSSEQ

The employee must understand, implement, and adhere to Company’s HSSEQ & PROCESS SAFETY policies, Integrated Management System and procedure. He /She must be fully conversant with the company’s emergency response plan and his role within this plan. Participate in the drills and emergencies as per station bill. Following good communication techniques, identify at risk behaviour and appreciating good safety performance in establishing positive safety culture. Proactive in identify hazards, potential risk and ensuring adequate controls. Actively participate in HSSEQ & PROCESS SAFETY meetings. Take care of own safety and of those working with in office, activities done etc. Shall not endanger other employees, vendors or building occupants including company assets. Always abide by company HSE rules and regulations .Exercise STOP work authority wherever required .Correct unsafe actions and conditions within his sphere of influence. Report all unsafe acts /conditions and incidents including near miss

Promote occupational health and wellbeing by actively participating in wellbeing forums, HSSEQ & PROCESS SAFETY meets and other HSE events organised by the company.

  • Carryout out duties in accordance with CAMS & IMS documents and best Industry practices.
  • Ensure compliance to HSSEQ & PROCESS SAFETY policies, MAPP Policy, procedures and guidelines during activities.
  • Comply with Process Safety guidelines.
  • Identify and reduce Occupational Health, Safety & Process hazards associated with the duties.

Implement and follow safe systems of work:

  • SOC ( Safety Observation card)
  • Task Prompt Card(TBT)
  • LSR (Life Saving Rules)
  • Emergency Response

Attend & keep updated on personal training as applicable:

  • Manual handling and ergonomics
  • Slips, Trips, and falls
  • Pinch points
  • CBTA as applicable
  • IMS/CAMS
  • Risk prompt card(Level 1 Risk Assessment)
  • Work related stress

 

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

 

Desirable Requirements

  • Around 3-5 yrs of experience with HSE related field of activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Educational Qualifications

  • Engineering Graduate
  • Professional certification in HSSEQ & PROCESS SAFETY field will be preferred
