Area Sales Manager (Surgical Drapes ,Gowns , Ortho Implants)
Job Description:

Responsibilities
- Travel to defined geographies to sell and service drapes & gowns.
- Contact potential customers at corporate hospitals, clinics, doctors' offices and government institutions.
- Arrange appointments with OT Managers, Doctors and Purchasing representatives.
- Deliver presentations to doctors and paramedical staff.
- Build relationships with medical staff, biomed staff and purchasing staff.
- Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, product specifics.
- Account relationship development and business development of all products.
- Perform product demonstrations. Work closely with distributors selling our products as well as direct sales.
- Contributing to the development of a strategic plan for the territory and accounts.
- Provide set-up and delivery of the product
- Gather, analyses and delivers information from the field to allow the company to further develop strategies.
- Coordinate all issues with key clients between sales, service, support, customer services
- Visit existing and potential clients to offer products/services and to elaborate on product features
- Contact customers via cold calls, emails, and arranged meetings to secure sales deals and contract
- Build and maintain good working relationship with clients to create an atmosphere that fosters sales
- Monitor the performance of sales employees and provide the necessary guidance to improve efficiency
- Motivate and support sales teams to achieve set goals/targets
- Organize conference calls/meetings during which sales activities are discussed and appropriate decisions taken
- Present periodic reports to company directors on sales operations
- Analyze and interpret sales records and customer accounts
- Carry out research to identify new sales opportunities.
- Must develop knowledge and familiarity with a wide array of products including: Surgical and Infection Prevention- surgical drapes/gowns, facemasks, personal protective apparel, Custom Procedure Trays
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3+ years in Orthopaedic Implants or medical supplies Drapes & Gowns sales experience required.
Strong computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power point, Excel, and Word.
Motivated headhunters’ mentality.
Strong desire to lean and grow professionally.
