Job Description:

OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

  • Managing the business of the division in profitable manner which includes business development and Execution of Projects to deliver the assigned project/s within stipulated timelines and budget along withcompliance to safety, quality and human resource norms.
  • Build the organization culture based on values and ethics to respect the concerns of internal/external stakeholders

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Functional support and ensure efficient Inter departmental coordination
  • Provide resources at the project mobilization stage
  • Selection and finalization of sub-contractors
  • Provide inputs in project budget development
  • Enable smooth transactions and accurate communication between site and service departments, playing anodal role for inter department coordination
  • Monitor adherence to project budget and schedules
  • Project progress monitoring
  • Identification of activities adversely impacting project schedule
  • Undertake detailed cost analysis to identify areas of cost reduction
  • Provide inputs for claims identification
  • Guide site team for potential areas of claim
  • Ensure Compliance to Management standards and guidelines, identify possible areas of improvement
  • Coordinate with HR, Training and various functions to ensure adequate training on quality and EHS management
  • Provide inputs and advice for EHS and Quality management
  • Build and manage harmonious relationship with external entities
  • Represent the company for critical client meetings and provide assistance in client grievance resolution
  • Assist the project team in PRW / Subcontractor management
  • Enable interactions and coordination between project team and joint venture partners / alliance, if any
  • Contribute to learning and development
  • Monitoring ongoing performance, coaching, mentoring and giving technical assistance to subordinates
  • Support employee involvement programs, welfare measures and initiatives aimed at enhancing motivation and morale
  • Support HR in the development of succession plans for critical roles such as that of Deputy Project Controller, PM and deputy PM
  • Provide inputs for Performance Management and identification of training needs
  • Should be familiar with Quality Policy, EHS policy and Objectives of the company.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

QUALIFICATION

  • Graduation in Engineering - Civil, Post Graduate diploma in construction management is preferred
