Executive / Senior Executive - Purchase
Job Description:
- Carry out procurement activities of Capital equipment, Contract Management, etc.
- Should possess the knowledge of handling green/brown field projects.
- Carry out procurement activities of consumable, lab equipment, stationary items, etc. based on product details and customer needs.
- Contracting of the services like vehicle hiring, canteen, pest control, etc.
- Vendor development based on required material.
- Participate in key activities in technical projects.
- Plan work improvement activities and performance improvement strategies.
- Support negotiation efforts with information on agreed contract terms with preferred vendors.
- Work with Finance departments to support payment processes to vendors.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.
