Job Overview:
A database administrator, or DBA, is responsible for maintaining, securing, and operating databases and also ensures that data is correctly stored and retrieved.
Job Qualifications:
- 1 yr+ exp in database administration, oracle architecture or related field.
- Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
- Experience with Linux, Windows Server, Virtualization, and Hyperconverged environments
- Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
- Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
- PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
- Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Installation of RDBMS software and creation of Oracle databases on windows/Linux platform
Good knowledge of exp-imp, data pump utility.
Maintaining physical and logical backups via user-managed & RMAN backup recoveries.
Checking Alert Log files for Internal Database Activity, DB-related error
Applying Different Types of Patches on quarterly For Fixing the bugs and Security issues.
Creating users, allocating appropriate table space, quotas with necessary privileges and roles for all databases.
Upgrade oracle database using DBCA/exp-imp utility.
Database performance tuning and configuring stats pack report
