Job Summary:
As the Key Account Manager - Sales, you will be a pivotal link between our organization and our valued clients. Your responsibilities will encompass every stage of the sales process, from initial order reception to final product delivery. Your efforts will contribute significantly to customer satisfaction, efficient order management, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Head to support and execute the sales strategy, focusing on PET preforms, bottles, caps, jars, containers and closures.
- Manage and nurture key client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with product specifications and delivery timelines.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date tracker of all assigned clients, orders, and interactions.
- Schedule and conduct client visits as required to strengthen relationships, address concerns, and explore potential business opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and quality control teams to track orders, monitor production progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide regular updates to clients on order status, delivery schedules, and any potential delays.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, shipments, or product quality.
- Visit to plants and clients, whenever required, to smooth line product dispatch and delivery.
- Proactively follow up with clients to ensure timely invoicing, accurate billing, and prompt payment collection.
- Prepare and present regular reports to the Sales & Marketing Head, highlighting account performance, sales trends, and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3-5 years in key account management or sales within the PET, bottles, and caps manufacturing industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build strong relationships with clients.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite for effective order tracking and reporting.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing client needs and concerns.
- Willingness to travel for client and plants visits as necessary.
