Job Description:

Duties & Accountabilities

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's short-term and long-term goals.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making at the executive and board levels.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to allocate resources effectively.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to guide business planning.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Develop strategies to optimize cash management and working capital efficiency.

Investment and Financing Strategies:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, negotiate financing terms, and oversee debt and equity transactions.

Investor Relations:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for investors and analysts.
  • Develop and maintain investor relations strategy and communications plan.
  • Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, and conference calls.

 Banking and Financial Institution Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
  • Negotiate and manage banking services, including credit facilities, treasury services, and lines of credit.
  • Monitor banking industry trends and recommend strategies for optimizing financial services.

 Stakeholder Communication:

  • Communicate financial results and insights to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Present financial information at board meetings and shareholder conferences.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 – 6 years of experience in managing financial activities, bank coordination and investor relationship.
  • Chartered Account or a master’s degree in finance or a related technical subject area.
  • Familiarity in working on ERP.
  • Analytical mindset with an attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
