Quality Assurance Head at Vasai East in Mumbai

Job Description:

Qualification Required: B.E.( Mechanical / Production / Electrical)
Minimum Experience Required: 12 to 20 Years
Expected System Knowledge: Quality Assurance - Leadership Role
Work location: Vasai east in Mumbai
Reporting To CEO
Age: 35 TO 45 Years

Job Description (Along with Specific technical knowledge requirement):

1. Minimum 12 to 15 years 0f experience quality assurance function at lead role in automotive/Tractor T-I manufacturing parts
2. Must have worked at Lead Role in Quality assurance function
3. Must have dealt with major OE automotive customers like JD, Mahindra, TAFE , Sonalika etc. / Have sound knowledge of working with Big Auto OE companies
4. Must have a proven ability to lead Quality assurance team comprising of Supplier / Manufacturing and customer personnel
5. Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes mainly Plastic injection molding, Machined parts, rubber parts, castings, electrical part, hardware like Rivets, springs, sheet metal fabrication, assembly of electrical / mechanical products .
6. Sound knowledge of quality assurance tools mainly inspection, quality planning, FMEAs, Statistical process control, quality improvement tools .
7. Ability to drive and implement continuous improvement culture within the supplier, manufacturing quality functions.
8. Handling suppliers quality function and take actions to implement zero defect culture at their promises.
9. Excellent knowledge of operating MS Office ( word , excel etc), 7 QC tools, Kaizans & Pokayokes etc.
10. Sound knowledge of IATF 16949 standard and experience in implementation of the same.
11. Must have experience in dealing with external IATF Auditors.
12. Should have knowledge and experience in conducting internal Audits ( System / Process / product), Management Review Meetings etc.
13. Should possess excellent engineering /quality audits
14. Must have knowledge in ERP / SAP or any such software.
15. Must have handled a team of 7-10 engineers in quality assurance dept.

6. Knowledge Automotive electrical systems, switches, electronic products, etc is an added advantage
