Position: Senior Database Engineer
Type: Full-time
Location: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Vadodara
Experience: 6+ years
Notice Period: Immediate Joiner
Role: Contractual / C2H
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days per week in-office)
Travel Requirements: Minimal
Position Level: 3
Role and Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into effective data models.
- Independently develop and maintain application schema upgrade scripts.
- Collaborate with the application development team to implement data strategies and conceptual data models.
- Manage day-to-day tasks efficiently to meet project deliverables.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills in SQL and other database technologies.
- Perform performance optimization, capacity planning, and tuning of production software solutions.
- Implement strategies for partitioning, archiving, and maturity models for applications.
- Execute backup and recovery procedures using RMAN/Data Pump utilities.
- Administer Oracle RAC, ASM, and implement disaster recovery solutions.
- Work with Oracle engineered systems like Exadata.
- Exhibit adaptability and resilience in a dynamic work environment.
What to Expect in the First Month:
- Familiarize yourself with our database and application architecture.
- Participate in our monthly release cycle for applications and infrastructure.
