Job Description:

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in switching, routing, firewalls, wireless technology, and cloud networking. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructures, providing advanced support, and collaborating on innovative solutions. Additionally, the role involves managing escalations, conducting network maintenance, and ensuring system reliability and security.

Work Experience:

  • Should have worked as a Senior Network Engineer Level 2/3 and understand design aspects
  • Should at least have 10 to 12 years of total working experience in related field.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Should be Graduate or Above.
  • Must Have Certifications – CCNA & CCNP
  • Desirable Certifications – CCIE, PCNSE, Check Point, FortiGate, Cisco Meraki.

Other Prerequisites:

  • Ability to work is rotational shift & depending on business needs.
  • Prior work experience in MNC & matrix organization.

Must Have Skills: LAN, WAN. WLAN, Switching, Routing, Firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Radius, VPN, Network Performance Monitoring, SNMP, Ping, Telnet, Tracert, network watcher, Wireshark, Fiddler, Network Diagnostics.

Good to Have Skills: SDWAN, MPLS, Load Balancers, Cloud Networking

Notice Period: Immediate to max 30 days

Key Role & Responsibilities:

  • Switching technology – VLAN, VXLAN, VTP, VSS – Cisco Catalyst platform, Nexus, HP and Juniper, SDLAN
  • Routing – Routing protocols, configuration and Troubleshooting traditional WAN and SDWAN – Velo cloud & Cisco Meraki
  • Firewalls – Sound knowledge on Virtual firewalls, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortigate NG firewalls.
  • Sound Knowledge on Wireless technology
  • Basic understanding on Link load balancers, Server Load balancers and Data Center device management & implementation.
  • Work with clients to develop network engineering solutions from concept through implementation.
  • Assist in development of network detailed designs in the following areas: software defined networking, network segmentation, network access control, network security and cloud networking components.
  • Analyze and provide recommendations for emerging network technologies.
  • Understanding Support priorities and objectives and taking an active role in accomplishing them.
  • Working Knowledge on Network security Protocols, LAN, WAN, Network security, Wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, Proxy, VPN, Firewalls, TCP/IP, Intranets, Extranets, VoIP, Virtualization, High Availability, Backups/Disaster recovery, Routers, Device drivers.
  • Deployment and configuration of various network devices and services, including SD-WAN, Load Balancers, Routers, Switches, IPS/IDS, Wireless LAN, VPN, MPLS, Radius, and MFA.
  • Providing Level 2/Level 3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues. Providing Support to Level 1 Engineers.
  • Handling Customer escalations and taking ownerships.
  • Providing RCA and Cases analysis whenever required.
  • Knowledge of Managing Virtual networks on cloud platforms e.g., Azure, Google Cloud, AWS and VM Ware.
  • Performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixed and security configurations.
  • Monitoring performance and ensured system availability and reliability.
  • Monitoring system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
  • Managing and configuring Network devices via SNMP via RMM tools e.g., N-Central N-able, Site 24*7, PRTG etc.
  • Exposure with popular tools to troubleshoot the complex issues in Networks e.g., PSping, Telnet, traceroute, network watcher, Wireshark, Fidler etc.
  • Experience is creating low level & high level network diagrams & topologies
  • Working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Responsible to Create SOPs for Different solutions to help Tier 1 and Tier 2 Team members.
  • Will be responsible for updating, sharing daily, weekly & monthly tickets tracker & analysis.
  • Defining key management routines and governance strategy to ensure effective business process execution.
  • Initiate improvements in tools, requirements gathering, processes, and people.
