Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

    • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  2. Bedroom Setup:

    • Prepare guest rooms by making beds, replenishing linens, and arranging amenities.
    • Regularly inspect rooms for any maintenance or repair needs and report issues to the appropriate department.
  3. Laundry Management:

    • Collect, wash, and fold linens and towels according to established standards.
    • Maintain an organized and efficient laundry area.
  4. Inventory Control:

    • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens as needed.
    • Report any inventory shortages or damaged items promptly.
  5. Guest Interaction:

    • Provide a friendly and helpful demeanor when interacting with guests.
    • Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure their satisfaction.
  6. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
    • Communicate effectively with the front desk and maintenance staff to address guest needs.
  7. Adherence to Standards:

    • Adhere to established housekeeping and safety procedures.
    • Follow industry best practices for cleanliness and hygiene.
  8. Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high cleanliness and quality standards.
    • Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
  9. Health and Safety Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Use personal protective equipment as required.
  10. Flexibility:

    • Adapt to changing priorities and work schedules based on hotel occupancy and events.
