Sr Purchase Engineer (Fabrication / EPC Projects) in Pune

Job Description:

Qualification: Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Chemical or Production
Experience: 4 to 10 yrs exp in Purchasing activities for EPC, HVAC, Heavy Fabrication Project Industry
Work location: swargate in Pune

Job profile:
Experience of purchase of structural material/pumps/panels/consumables/tools, raw materials (MS/SS), consumables, PVC/MS/SS pipes & pipe fittings, Pumps, motors, control panels, valves, fasteners, flanges etc.
Inventory monitoring and control..
Vendor management & Negotiation with vendors.
Coordination with manufacturing unit and project site for material availability Ensuring availability of all material and release of purchase order as per manufacturing and project schedule
Sourcing of non standard items
Marinating up to date payment due to vendors, & co ordination with accounts.
