Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager with specialized experience in lamination within the plywood manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor relationships, and expanding market share within their designated geographic area.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives within the lamination segment.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive threats. Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key stakeholders within the plywood industry.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Product Promotion: Develop and implement promotional activities, product demonstrations, and training sessions to increase product awareness and drive sales.
Forecasting and Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports to monitor performance and track progress towards goals. Provide regular updates to management on sales activities and market trends.
Customer Engagement: Engage with existing and potential customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that align with company offerings.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that products meet quality standards and customer expectations. Collaborate with internal teams to address any quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience in sales, with a focus on lamination within the plywood manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to analyze market data and trends to develop effective sales strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
