Supply Quality Manager for Electrical- Solar Mumbai

Job Description:

 Able to interpret contractual & specification requirements and define them under
Quality specification requirement for Electrical Packages for manufacturing & Site
Erection/commissioning in the form of Quality Assurance Plans / Inspection and
Test plans.
 Independently able to handle Quality activities including witness of pre-dispatch
tests/inspections (Raw material / intermediate / final) & functional check of
heavy Electrical Items/packages at manufacturers works based on Schematic / GA
/ Logic drawings.
 Ensure that Quality is being incorporated into projects and processes
(prevention), rather than inspected.

 Regular Coordination with suppliers, Third party inspection agencies & cross-
function teams.

 Vendor Evaluation / audits & process audits.
 Maintain Quality documentations & reporting.
 Practical knowledge in using IT-tools: SharePoint, SAP, MS Office & AutoCAD.
 Sound knowledge of various Engineering standards: - IEC, BS, IS, IEEE, etc.
 Sound knowledge of Electrical test equipments and setup along with
interpretation of the electrical drawings, complicated electrical schemes, and
logic diagrams
 Advanced knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems and electrical safety for
systems up to 1500VDC and 230KV AC applicable for Photovoltaic and Solar
Energy Power Plants/Projects.
 Experience with wireless, RFID, fiber optic, PPC, MODBUS communications and
PLCC equipment
 Experience in managing quality control and/or commissioning activities on
utility scale solar facilities, including SCADA/DAS system troubleshooting
 Certified internal auditor (e.g., ISO 9001/14001/45001) will be an added
advantage.
