Job Description:
Strategy Development:
- Product design study, process and feasibility study
- Work content assessment
- Budgeting, ordering actions for equipment/facilities for new Product Introduction & engineering changes
- Understanding & consolidation of requirement form Production, Maintenance, Quality for Capital/Revenue projects
- Preparation & floating of detailed RFQ, Receipt of offers, PO release, DAP, and proving activities
- Planning for process equipment & handling systems
- Preparation & refinement of Process Flow charts, PFD, PFMEA, Process sheets, and DML release.
- Coordination with ERC, Product line, Finance, COP, Purchase
- Adherence to project timelines to meet Project deliverables
- Ensure compliance to laid down safety standards during project execution
- Manage the contractors and contractor safety
- Benchmark latest technology / competition
- Idea generation & implementation for WCR, DMC reduction VCC saving
- Meet the sustainability targets for the domain/aggregate area
Financial Management:
- Manage the CAPEX commitment and incurrence for new projects and sustenance items
- Manage the revenue items
- Raise the service contract request for miscellaneous activities
- Time-bound capitalisation of newly commissioned assets
- Disposal of non-performing assets
- Certification and clearance of supplier payment/ balance payments
Relationship development:-
- Co-ordinate with Internal stakeholders to implement the projects.
- Participate in various CFTs for Productivity Improvement projects, cost reduction and other plant level initiatives
- Ensure the customer satisfaction through SLA
People Management –
- Understand the concerns of Blue Collar employees and Line managers and address them in a positive way in compliance with standards.
- Co-ordinate and interact to share necessary information and identify the needs for improvements and suggest trainings to ensure best practices across the plant.
- Share best practices among the team and learn for cross location initiatives.
- Conduct periodic cross location assessments to adhere to highest standards and to implement the best practices followed within TML
- Contractor Safety Management
Other details:
- Working days- Mon to Sat
- Working time- 9 hrs
- Location- Goa
- Candidate will be responsible to handle 2 plants (approx. 1000 employees)
- Candidate should have experience into bus body building manufacturing.
